With a unique background in martial arts, stunt work, cinematography, and directing, Teddy has built an international career across action films and TV, including John Wick and Gangs of London. This seminar offers a deep dive into the practical techniques of screen combat, while also highlighting how an understanding of filmaking, rhythm, and storytelling can elevate your performance as a stunt performer or actor. What You’ll Learn: DAY 1 – Falls & Choreography - Breaking down safe and effective fall techniques - Adapting to different surfaces & variations - Choreography fundamentals: rhythm, timing, speed, and distance - Safety management & professional practice - and an exclusive Lecture and Q&A with Teddy Masson DAY 2 – Applied Training & Performance: - STORYTELLING and STAGING: How to shape the fight to a story / concept - Developing complex choreography for screen - Understanding how camera, photography, and cinematography influence performance ABOUT Teddy Masson: Passionate about both combat sports and visual storytelling since childhood, Teddy began his journey by filming his own acrobatics. After studying at 3IS (Image Section) and training as a stuntman at Campus Univers Cascades, he built a career spanning multiple disciplines: - assistant coordinator on major productions including John Wick and Gangs of London - Director of photography, cameraman, and special effects artist for: LOGAN THE WOLF, 99 PERCENT & WARLIKE - Independent filmmaker and action designer, currently preparing his first feature film Teddy’s dual expertise allows him to merge action design with cinematic storytelling, offering performers a holistic view of screen fighting.
