Our Artistic Director, Adrian C. Falconer, is currently working as Fight Director alongside Olivier Award–winning artist Ivan Michael Blackstock on the critically acclaimed production Traplord.

Over the past decade, Traplord has grown from strength to strength, evolving into a powerful, genre-defying work. Now, Ivan and his creative team are entering a new phase of development—expanding their repertoire by integrating new disciplines, physical languages, and modes of expression.

Most recently, members of the Traplord ensemble have been training regularly with TAKA Strike Club, where they discovered a dynamic approach to movement, combat, and embodied storytelling. This collaboration sparked a shared desire to incorporate these newly acquired skills into Traplord as an additional expressive medium—deepening the production’s physical and visceral impact.

Traplord has been presented at some of the most prestigious venues in the UK and internationally, including 180 Studios, Factory International (AVIVA Studios, Manchester), and Sadler’s Wells East. The production is now set to embark on its world tour, beginning in Hong Kong, where it will headline Breaking Convention 2026.
