Service Description

Experience two evenings of traditional Kenjutsu training and cinematic samurai choreography led by legendary action choreographer and founder Tetsuro Shimaguchi. Known internationally for his work as “Miki” of the Crazy 88 in Kill Bill Vol. 1 and his action choreography contributions to Last Samurai Standing, Tetsuro brings decades of experience in samurai movement, sword combat and performance training for film and live action. Across both sessions, participants will explore the foundations of Kenjutsu alongside practical choreography applications used within cinematic combat performance. Training will include: • How to hold and draw a Katana correctly • Basic postures and footwork • Swing and slash mechanics • Timing, rhythm and controlled movement • 1v1 choreography training • Cinematic combat performance principles • Choreography filming for screen and promotional content Suitable for performers, martial artists, stunt practitioners and movement artists of all experience levels. Limited spaces available.
